The DSD
Process
Digital Smile Design is an innovative planning system that allows you to preview your future smile before any treatment starts. Using high-resolution photos, videos, and 3D scans, we digitally design your ideal smile — perfectly matched to your face and personality.
With our advanced digital imaging, we capture detailed records of your teeth, face, and smile, then use real-time software to simulate and adjust your new smile. You’ll be able to clearly visualise your results and make confident decisions before treatment begins — removing the guesswork from cosmetic and restorative dentistry and giving you complete confidence in the process and outcome.
1. Consult & Assessment
We begin with a comprehensive consultation before the procedure where we discuss your goals and a thorough evaluation of your teeth and gums.
2. 3D Imaging & Digital Planning
Using high-resolution photos, 3D scans, and video, we capture your current smile and facial features. These images are combined to create a digital overlay — comparing your existing smile with the one you envision.
3. Mock-Up Preview
From the digital design, we produce a physical mock-up that fits in your mouth. This “preview” allows you to see, feel, and react to the proposed changes before committing to permanent treatment.
4. Final Treatment
If you’re happy with the proposed design, we move into your personalised treatment plan — which may include veneers, crowns, bridges, implants, or a combination tailored to your smile goals.
