Clear Aligners

Process

Your treatment involves wearing a sequence of aligners, each designed to make small, controlled movements to your teeth. You’ll change aligners at regular intervals as your smile gradually improves, with progress monitored throughout the process. Because the aligners are removable, you can continue eating, brushing, and flossing as normal, making clear aligner orthodontics a comfortable and convenient option for achieving long-term results.

1. Consult & 3D Planning

We begin with a comprehensive consultation before the procedure to get a detailed digital scan of your teeth, allowing us to create personalised digital impressions and a tailored treatment plan that maps out each stage of your transformation — including a clear preview of how your smile will change over time.

We offer a 7 day cooling off period for patients under the age of 18.

2. Custom Aligner Series

Your aligners are crafted using advanced 3D imaging to ensure a comfortable, precise fit that’s tailored to your smile. You’ll receive a series of clear trays, each worn for about 1–2 weeks.

3. Gradual Adjustment

As you move through your aligner sets — typically changing every 1–2 weeks — your teeth gently shift into alignment. We’ll monitor your progress and make adjustments as needed. Most treatments take between 6–12 months, depending on your needs

4. Retainers & Maintenance

Once treatment is complete, we provide a retainer to help maintain your new smile and keep your teeth beautifully aligned for years to come.

Why Choose Clear Aligners?

Aligners lets you straighten your teeth comfortably and confidently, without changing your daily routine. The aligners are virtually invisible, comfortable to wear, and easy to remove for eating, brushing, or special occasions. If you’ve been considering straightening your teeth but want a more flexible, discreet option, this may be the perfect solution.

How long will this treatment take?

Treatment times vary on a case by case basis. Some patients with minor alignment issues may complete treatment in as little as 6 months whereas more severe cases may take over a year. The average treatment time for most patients is between 6 and 12 months.

Is it painful to use aligners?

Generally no, most patients do not experience pain when using aligners. Being an orthodontic treatment that aids the movement of your teeth, however, means that patients can experience pressure or soreness while wearing aligners. This is usually when switching to a new, tighter set. Most of the time, this discomfort is mild, tolerable and temporary as patients get used to their new aligners.

Am I a suitable candidate for aligners?

Aligners are suitable for most teenage or adult patients with a mild to moderate level of misalignment. During an initial consultation, our dentist will evaluate your condition and advise whether or not aligners are suitable. If it is a more severe case of misalignment, other orthodontic treatments such as braces may be recommended.

How often are dentist visits during treatment?

How often you see the dentist or orthodontist can vary depending on your individual treatment plan. Usually, most patients will see their dentist for check-ups at least every six weeks.
